EverGlow Photoluminescent Fire & Safety Equipment Signs

Mounting brackets and architectural frames are available for all EverGlow photoluminescent signs. Below are several suggestions which we can supply. Note that we can supply you with top or side mount brackets and these signs and brackets can be configured in many different ways. All signs can be attached directly to the wall (with or without a frame) over the door or near the side of the door frame. Or, signs can be attached to the wall or ceiling using a flag mounting bracket in either 1-side or 2-side configuration. Or, (2) signs can be fastened to the wall using a V-Mounting Bracket.

All commercial building and fire codes require the installation of fire extinguishers at various locations throughout your structure. And, these extinguishers MUST be signed properly. EverGlow offers several different photoluminescent signs that will meet the requirements of your inspector and local jurisdiction. High performance photoluminescent signs and back plates ensure that your extinguishers can be found during an emergency and used to save life and property.

EverGlow can manufacture a variety of custom Fire Safety Signs for your facility. The signs shown below can be provided in French, Spanish or multi-lingual, as required. Following international convention, these signs are red.

EverGlow stocks all the standard ISO Fire Safety Signs for your facility. These are graphical signs that are gaining in popularity here in the US and North America. These signs are especially suitable where international visitors frequent. EverGlow also can add an upper and/or lower case legend as required by British Standard.

First Aid and Safe Gathering Area signs are are generally green to indicate that people can go for help or meet in a safe, predesignated area. EverGlow can provide custom signs as necessary for your facility. AED signs have been designated by NFPA and international convention.

ANSI (and ISO) have defined several types of safety signs, each to be used with a unique color scheme (adapted for photoluminescent signs and markers):
  • Fire Safety Signs (also ISO)- safety red background and a glow legend
  • Safety Instructions & Safety/Emergency Equipment Signs (also ISO)- safety green background and a glow legend
  • Egress Signs & Directional Markers (also ISO)- safety green background with a glow legend
  • Danger Signs- safety red background and glow legend
  • Warning Signs (also ISO)- safety orange background and a glow legend
  • Caution Signs- a glow background and a black legend
  • Notice Signs- safety blue background and a glow legend
  • Prohibition Signs (ISO only)- glow background with a black legend and a red circle & line over the graphic legend

EverGlow can provide custom signs as necessary for your facility. NFPA has also designated standard sign designs for Fire Safety and Emergency Symbols. Traditional sign designs are commonly used and accepted throughout North America.
